Drug & Alcohol Counselors
We are looking for drug & alcohol counselors who are dedicated and compassionate about helping people find freedom from substance use disorders. Must be able to establish healthy boundaries and willing to work as part of a treatment team.
Job duties will include instructing 12-step and open groups, presenting lectures, and providing one-on-one counseling. Required paperwork and documentation must be completed in a timely manner. Must be able to pass a DHS background check and have at least two years free of problematic substance use.
Must be familiar with various evidence-based treatment modes, such as DBT and CBT. Must be licensed as an addiction counselor in the state of Minnesota. Will consider interns.
We’re currently looking to hire LADC’s at both our Woodstock, MN and Worthington, MN locations.
LPN’s and RN’s
We are looking for nursing staff to care for our clients and facilitate their recovery from substance use disorder. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. Must be compassionate and cool-tempered and able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.
Responsibilities will include monitoring client’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care. Observe, interpret and communicate client’s symptoms. Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, etc.) and fill in clients’ charts. Adjust and administer client’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders. Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
Applicants must also provide instant medical care in emergencies, supervise and train nursing technicians. Must be able to foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families, and expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
Excellent knowledge of client & nursing care methods and procedures, have outstanding organizational, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills. Must have a valid Minnesota nursing license (LPN or RN) with proven experience. Must be available to work all shifts (nights preferred), pass a DHS background study and have at least two years free of problematic substance use.
Dietary Staff
We are seeking a motivated person to join our kitchen team. This is an essential role in the overall dining services offered to our clients. The cook assists in the preparation and service of meals and snacks in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Must be able to learn specific food preparation procedures, follow recipes and menus, and operate all equipment in a safe manner
Knowledge of food service is preferred
Must be able to maintain a clean, organized work area
Must be able to work well with all NLTC staff
Must use good communication to interact with clients to ensure the dining experience is positive, efficient, and provides quality, appetizing meals and dishes throughout the day
Client Care Tech
